The Nature of Truth

Truth need not make a noise,

 so why is it that people feel the need to speak up for it?

 If it is truth,

 it will stand up silently,

against the loud crashing waves of slander that lap up upon its sides in futility.

And I say again,

why speak in the name of truth

 when anything spoken is a testament against it,

for truth need not make a noise

to withstand the ceaseless waves of lies

that resound and echo about it;

the truth will not errode into a sea of deception,

but will only become more definate,

more solid,

within it,

for the lies

that once clung to the truth will be washed away

and the truth shall be ever clearer,

ever nearer,

to the sight of the beholder,

with lies flowing all about it,

giving it starkly night to its bright shimmer;

like stars shine in darkly night.

Truth now in sharp contrast,

now showeth forth less dimmer,

in sick brothly simmer of all lies,

and now,

without light of glimmer,

as conterfeit as dark room is night,

truth shall be heard

by all none but eyes,

and be seen

 by all none, but no sight;

those who

in it walking,

make strides

under truth’s dark hiding light.
